EPL Team by Team January Transfer Deadline Day Guide 2017.

The transfer window closes TODAY! With that in mind, we look at each Premier League team, discussing; transfers in so far this window, players out plus give our thoughts on all the big potential movers prior the 11pm deadline.

The runaway leaders have shrewdly recalled Nathan Ake to bolster their title bid. Asmir Begovic has been linked with a bid from Bournemouth this window. If that goes ahead, Conte will sign a replacement. Ivanovic has also been allowed to join Zenit it seems. With the blues in a fine vain of form and leading the table by some distance, further transfer activity seems unlikely. That said Ivanovic’s impending move looks likely to pave the way for the club to sign a replacement in Sead Kolasinac from Schalke.

Transfers In: Ake (return loan)

Rumoured signings: Alvaro Morata, Arturo Vidal, Fernando Llorente, Craig Gordon, David Stockdale, Sead Kolasinac, Moussa Dembele.

Deadline Day Potential Transfer? Expect a goalie in for Begovic. Kolasinac in for Ivanovic.

Lack a real leader in the middle of the park but chances are, Wenger will spring no surprises and sign nobody else this window. Debuchy & Jenkinson’s days seemed number, so expect potential movement there. Young Bramall has been signed from non-league Hednesford Town.

Transfers In: Cohen Bramall

Rumoured signings: Alvaro Morata, Leon Goretzka, Marco Reus

Deadline Day Potential Transfer? Zilch!

On great form but will injuries to both Vertonghen & Alderweireld cost them dear, in their quest for the Premier League title? Pochettinho has been quoted as saying he’s happy with what he’s got. Expect little activity.

Transfers In: None

Rumoured signings: Wilfried Zaha

Deadline Day Potential Transfer? If Townsend moves to Newcastle as tipped, Zaha move this window unlikely.

With the defence being their main culprit to their inability to maintain a title assault, you’d think Klopp may shore up his backline at the first opportunity. However Liverpool have been quiet this window with more flamboyant names being linked to the club-most notably stars from the Bundesliga – for which we imagine you won’t see in the red of Liverpool – at least till the summer. Expect Sakho to be on his way out today.

Transfers In: None

Rumoured signings: Julien Brandt, Mohammed Dahoud. Antonio Adan, Leandro Paredes

Deadline Day Potential Transfer? Null!

Man City

Though signed last summer, the Gabriel Jesus deal was only sealed this month and he looks an exciting prospect. No doubt Pep has now realised the job he took on last summer is bigger than he initially anticipated. It seems there’s a big rejuvenation needed at The Etihad if they are to dominate a season like years gone by. Can’t see any movers before deadline but next summer Pep will no doubt, fully put his stamp on the team.

Transfers In: Gabriel Jesus

Rumoured signings: James Bree, Juan Bernat

Deadline Day Potential Transfer? Highly unlikely.

Man United

13 successive wins was halted in the EFL Cup recently but they remain in touch with the top teams and as a result it looks unlikely United will delve into the market this window. Mourinho has been quoted as saying Ashley Young, may be their only departure – linked to the CSL – as has Rooney. Young would no doubt be a good addition for a lot of EPL teams, so font be surprised if a team puts a bid in before the deadline.

Transfers In: None.

Rumoured signings: Romelu Lukaku, Antoine Griezmann,  Yannick Carrasco, Seamus Coleman

Deadline Day Potential Transfer? Odds of Coleman moving have been slashed!!!!

The Toffees are doing well and recently recorded good wins over Arsenal & Man City respectively. Have money to spend with new ownership and have already spent big on hot prospect Lookman from Charlton and midfielder Schneiderlin from Manchester United. With Diasse, Gibson & Oviedo all offloaded this window, they may sign cover.

Transfers In: Ademola Lookman, Morgan Schneiderlin, Anton Donkor

Rumoured signings: Ashley Young, Martin Terrier, Yoric Ravet, Jonathan Cafu, Leandro Paredes, Michael Keane

Deadline Day Potential Transfer? May be room for one more..?

West Bromwich Albion

A lot of teams have improved this season (Chelsea, Liverpool) but you could argue, none so more so than Tony Pulis’s West Brom – who have tactically added an attacking flair to their game to add to the resilient defensive style they are more regularly known for. Also under new ownership, there seems to be money to spend. Jake Livermore has already been signed for £10M from Hull City & they have been linked to a host of names. Berahino is also off the books so a replacement before the deadline seems possible.

Transfers In: Jake Livermore

Rumoured signings: Christian Benteke, Branoslav Ivanovic, Ashley Young, Odion Ighalo, Jay Rodriguez.

Deadline Day Potential Transfer? Zenit seemed to have pipped WBA to Ivanovic. Young or Ighalo, could be a mover.

Stoke City

Another team that have started to find consistent form. Mark Hughes has already been busy bringing Berahino in from WBA and surprisingly loaned out fan favourite Bojan to Mainz. Hughes’ name is always touted on deadline day, so there could still be further players in before the 11pm deadline tomorrow.

Transfers In: Saido Berahino, Lee Grant

Rumoured signings: Fabian Delph on loan, Guessouma Fofana

Deadline Day Potential Transfer? Never say never with Hughes’ involved.

West Ham

Despite the mess surrounding Dimitri Payets move to Marseille, things are looking up at West Ham. They have been on a good run of form of late and even Andy Carroll has maintained his fitness and fired the goals- even winning at home! Jose Fonte and Robert Snodgrass have already joined the Irons this window. With Payet money now in the bank, chances are high, Bilic may make a late move for one or two more – especially as the deal for Scott Hogan seems imminent.

Transfers In: Jose Fonte, Robert Snodgrass.

Rumoured signings: Scott Hogan

Deadline Day Potential Transfer? At least one more a possibility.

A topsy-turvy season so far for the Saints with a date at Wembley booked in next month EFL Cup final. Having lost Jose Fonte to West Ham a defender may be likely, though Jack Stephens who has covered of late, looks like he could be another impressive product from the Academy belt. Have yet to really replace Pelle. Deal for Napoli’s Gabbiadini is in the pipeline.

Transfers In: None

Rumoured signings: Manolo Gabbiadini, Mouez Hassen, Sardar Tasci

Deadline Day Potential Transfer? Manolo will go!

AFC Bournemouth

Had a poor run of form of late but have definitely shown they have enough about them to not suffer any second season syndrome relegation fears. Mid table seems viable and if they do sign Asmir Begovic from Chelsea – that will only heighten their reach for such a target.

Transfers In: None

Rumoured signings: Asmir Begovic

Deadline Day Potential Transfer? Begovic close to being done.

Having a great season under Dyche in his second stint in the Premier League. Joey Barton has returned and made an immediate impact – scoring in his first game back in the claret shirt. Hull City’s highly regarded full back, Andy Robertson has been linked and would be a good signing. Also had a bid accepted for Robert Snodgrass before West Ham pounced; so another midfield arrival may be imminent too?

Transfers In: Joey Barton

Rumoured signings: Andy Robertson, Ashley Westwood

Deadline Day Potential Transfer? Likely to get Westwood on loan from Aston Villa.

Have been active in the market this month to no doubt put a stop to their slide down the table. Niang from AC Milan is the big name through the door at Vicarage Road so far. The player comes with a glowing reputation. Ighalo seems set for a £20M move to the CSL, so the Hornets may well sign another player or two before tonight.

Transfers In: M’Baye Niang, Mauro Zarate. Tom Cleverley

Rumoured signings: Tim Krul

Deadline Day Potential Transfer? Expect another sting in the market from the Hornets!

Leicester City

The pressure is piling on manager Claudio Ranieri as rumours of squad unrest seems to further damage the Foxes abysmal Defence of their Premier League title. Ndidi has already arrived to shore up the teams defensive frailties and another defender has also been mooted.

Transfers In: Wilfried Ndidi

Rumoured signings: Molla Wague, Kara Mbodji, Gaston Ramirez

Deadline Day Potential Transfer? Likely to bolster to avoid relegation dog fight.

Aitor Karanka has been in the hunt for offensive players to bolster his sides attacking options this window -as they bid to stay in the Premier League. Rudy Gestede and Patrick Bamford have already arrived on Teeside this month. Jese Rodriquez (whom Karanka coached at Real Madrid) from PSG has been linked to a loan.

Transfers In: Rudy Gedtede, Patrick Bamford, Mikael Soisalo

Rumoured signings: Jese, Jack Grealish

Deadline Day Potential Transfer? Could scoop the biggest surprise of all if Karanka can convince Jese to make the move!

Swansea City

Paul Clement has made an immediate impact as manager at Swansea- pulling them off the foot of the table and out of the relegation zone. Tom Carroll looks a shrewd signing. Jordan Ayew has been linked and is looking likely in a swap deal with Aston Villa involving loyal servant Neil Taylor.

Transfers In: Tom Carroll, Martin Olson, Luciano Narsingh.

Rumoured signings: Jordan Ayew, Lee Chung-Yong

Deadline Day Potential Transfer? Don’t expect Clement to be finished just yet as he looks to make the team more his own to keep the Swans flying.

Crystal Palace

Sam Allardyce has so far failed to make an impression at Selhurst Park, having only collected one point so far under his stewardship-resulting in the team sliding into the relegation zone. Traditionally, Big Sam loves a deadline day deal, so we expect at least a couple of players to make the move to join Sam in his fight to keep his ‘Never got a team relegated’ record, intact. Free agent Samba is on trial at the club and they have also looked to improve their defence further by signing Jeffrey Schlupp from Leicester City and Patrick Van Aanholt from fellow strugglers Sunderland. A shrewd piece of business from Sam there.

Transfers In: Jeffrey Schlupp, Christopher Samba, Patrick Van Aanholt

Rumoured signings: Chancel Mbembe, Luka Milivojevic, Scott Hogan, Robbie Keane, Callum Wilson, Carl Jenkinson, Mamadou Sakho, Martin Caceres.

Deadline Day Potential Transfer? Expect a Big Sam Deadline Day Frenzy as he strives to save yet another relegation threatened team.

Hull City

New manager Marco Silva has turned Hull Citys fortunes on the pitch overseeing three wins out of his first six matches in charge. Off the field however, chaos still decends on the club as uncertainty over the board and sale in the club have now coincided with the club selling their top players including Jake Livermore and Robert Snodgrass to rivals West Brom and West Ham respectively for a combined £21M. Andy Robertson seems the next player due for the exit door. More transfer activity before the deadline looks likely one way or other. Ranocchia from Inter Milan would be a great capture for the club to shore the back line.

Transfers In: Evandro, Markus Henriksen, Oumar Niasse, Lazer Markovic, Omar Elabdellaoui

Rumoured signings: Andrea Ranocchia, Adlene Guedioura, Nicolas Pepe.

Deadline Day Potential Transfer? New boss may have one more ace up his sleeve?

Things seem to only get from bad to worse for David Moyes and Sunderland as they find themselves rooted to the foot of the Premier League table amid first team injuries. The manager took the decision to sell one of the clubs prized assets in Van Aanholt to rival Crystal Palace, in order to raise funds to strengthen his sides bid to avoid relegation. Former Everton players Gibson and Oviedo were immediately recruited. The have also had a bid for Leicester’s Leo Ulloa rejected. They need to do something to save their season. One or two more signings is surely a must?

Transfers In: Darren Gibson, Bryan Oviedo, Jolyon Lescott

Rumoured signings: Leoandro Ulloa, Arouna Kone

Deadline Day Potential Transfer?  You’d imagine Moyes will look to spend every penny of PVA money to aid fight for (near impossible) relegation survival.
