#Hyped: Doctor Strange & Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

Is anyone else jumping in anticipation for what the next few months of cinema releases has in store for us?

In this months #Hyped, we talk Doctor Strange, Rogue One: A Star Wars story and also touch base on what trailers have been rumoured to feature in the movies!

October 25th (November 4th for those in the USA and beyond), gives us the release of Marvel’s latest installement to the MCU in Doctor Strange.

Benedict Cumberbatch stars as Steven Strange, where he learns that he is the newly designated Sorcerer Supreme, responsible for protecting the planet from evil.

Also starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Tilda Swinton and Mads Mikkelsen, this will no doubt be, Marvels most creatively epic movie yet – as they delve into the inner realms of magic, mystical arts and dark dimensions.

The trailers look nothing short of epic and you can check them via links below.

Rogue One:A Star Wars Story

And onto Star Wars, due for release December 16th I believe.

Last week saw the release of the new Rogue One: A Star Wars Story – Trailer 3 which gave us further insight into what to expect from the upcoming movie.

Now I was a little apprehensive about the ‘spin off’ release but after viewing the latest trailer, I am very much looking forward to the movie now.

The trailer itself not only gave us a further look into planets, backdrops and characters from our favourite galaxy far, far away but also exposed the story of our main protagonist Jyn Erso played by Felicity Jones and how her father Galen, played by (Yep, that man again!) Mads Mikkelsen, is responsible for creating the feared Death Star.

I was surprised the trailer gave away such a spoiler and it grates on me somewhat that like Force Awakens before it, Disney keep scripting story lines that have parallels with the original Lucas films. That all said, the trailer does look grand and the movie should give us an interesting take on the Star Wars galaxy, especially as this story is pre Episode IV and subsequently, pre any surviving Jedi’s.

Watch the latest trailer 3 via the links below.

If the two movies alone weren’t enough to get you #Hyped, rumour has it, that we will get our first look at Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and maybe even SpiderMan Homecoming during these movies opening trailers!

Roll on the next few months. It’s going to be a Strange: One!

Let us know your thoughts, any opinions on the trailers, what you’re looking forward to regarding these upcoming releases and let us know if you too; are #Hyped
